Synopsis
On 4 October 2010, the wall of the Ajka Alumina Plant reservoir gave way, inundating the nearby settlements with an amount of 1m cubic meter thick alkaline red mud, destroying hundreds of homes, killing 10 locals and injuring several others. In this short animation we see through the eyes and works of the children from Devecser all the things gone and lost on that particular day. The places, people, objects and memories which were destroyed in no time.
