Synopsis

Seven little fox cubs leave the warmth of their mother's den. They fear the coming winter, though they have no idea what it actually is. By the time they have asked all the creatures of the forest to explain to them what this dreaded thing call wintertime is, the spring, summer and autumn have passed and winter is upon them. But in the meantime they have grown up, and they now have thick red coats that protect them from the snow and frost and rime.
