Synopsis

The main protagonist, a little mouse, is shown in the film series at different stages of his life in his natural environment. At one point we see him towards the end of the story on a train. The hardships of Ede and his fate of slavery give him cause to sing. The musical conversations among the mouse conductor, the ticket inspector and his family, also result in colourful moments.
