The cooking of a vegetable soup is an everyday mystery. It is so trivial that we tend to forget that in the old times cooking began like this: our grandma went to the garden, looked around, picked what was needed, washed them, cut them up and then put up to cook so by noon a simple but nutritious and fresh food was served.
